RESUMO

Cyanobacteria are important photosynthetic autotrophic microorganisms and are considered as one of the most promising microbial chassises for photosynthetic cell factories. Glycogen is the most important natural carbon sink of cyanobacteria, playing important roles in regulating its intracellular carbon distributions. In order to optimize the performances of cyanobacterial photosynthetic cell factories and drive more photosynthetic carbon flow toward the synthesis of desired metabolites, many strategies and approaches have been developed to manipulate the glycogen metabolism in cyanobacteria. However, the disturbances on glycogen metabolism usually cause complex effects on the physiology and metabolism of cyanobacterial cells. Moreover, the effects on synthesis efficiencies of different photosynthetic cell factories usually differ. In this manuscript, we summarized the recent progress on engineering cyanobacterial glycogen metabolism, analyzed and compared the physiological and metabolism effects caused by engineering glycogen metabolism in different cyanobacteria species, and prospected the future trends of this strategy on optimizing cyanobacterial photosynthetic cell factories.

RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the research hotspots, research directions and future trends of social isolation of the elderly in the past 10 years, so as to provide reference for future research. Methods:The literature on social isolation of the elderly included in the Web of Science database from 2010 to 2020 was retrieved, and bibliometrics analysis was conducted on the number of literature publications, key words, countries and institutions, keyword knowledge graph analysis and keyword emergence and other aspects using science citation analysis and Citespace5.7.R3 visualization software. Results:A total of 1 178 articles were included. The document volume showed a rising tendency, The majority of them was in Britain and the United States, less international cooperation among the author, issuing agency is given priority to with university. The research focuses on the mental health of the elderly, social isolation intervention methods, risk factors, quality of life and mortality, etc. Conclusions:The phenomenon of social isolation of the elderly has become a research hotspot in the international community, while China′s research in this field is still in its infancy. Future research should draw lessons from the experience and methods of foreign research, and explore intervention methods suitable for the social isolation of the elderly in China, so as to better promote the healthy aging of the elderly.

RESUMO

Objectives Explore the experiences of professor Li Shunmin in treating chronic kidney diseases (CKD) according to spleen and kidney theory. Methods Information of medical records was acquired from Shenzhen TCM hospital information management department. It included the records from Jan, 2014 to Mar, 2016. Access database was established and SQL was used for data processing. Cytoscape 2.8 software was used to visualize the results and analyze the treatment characteristics in CKD.Results ProfessorLi used herbs of nourishing spleen and kidney to treat CKD. The herbs included Astragalus membranaceus, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rehmannia glutinosa and Gordon Euryale. The rules of treatment included invigorating spleen and kidney, and regulating liver and lung. The characteristics of using herbs included combination of cooling and warming herbs, bitter and pungent herbs, and sweet herbs for CKD.Conclusions Data mining could help to discover the rules of Li Shunmin in treating CKD. The results confirmed the academic attitude of treating CKD on spleen and kidney. It provided ideas and direction for CKD treatment.

RESUMO

With the rapid development of molecular nutrition, the urgent demand of rationalizing and individual clinical enternal nutrition support was realized. The enteral nutrition was added with special nutrition substrate. The application of carbohydrate in enteral nutrition and the status of comprehensive use of polysaccharides were summarized in this article. Based on the study of traditional fiber in enteral nutrition(EN) , the application of marine polysaccharides on the diseases oriented EN was analyzed and discussed. So, new nutrition substrate from marine polysaccharides is proposed for exploitation of various diseases oriented EN. Therefore, the individual nutrition support becomes possible.

RESUMO

AIM: To investigate the effects of advanced glycation end products on activation of Smad signaling pathway and collagenⅠ synthesis in proximal tubular epithelial cells.METHODS: Advanced glycation end products(AGE-BSA) were prepared by incubation of bovine serum albumin(BSA) with D-glucose.Normal rat proximal tubular epithelial(NRK52E) cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 medium with AGE-BSA.Phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of Smad2/3 were examined by immunocytochemistry.Levels of TGF-?_1 in supernatant of cell culture were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Expression of TGF-?_1,Smad2,Smad3 and Smad7 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR.Expression of ?-SMA,E-cadherin and collagenⅠproteins were detected by Western blotting.RESULTS: AGE-BSA induced Smad2/3 phosphorylation and nuclear translocation, two peaks occured at 30 min(68% vs 16%,P
